All-Type Welding and Fabrication, Inc. can work with all grades and varieties of stainless steel sheet metal. We specialize in precision jobs using:
- 304, 2B, #4, and #8 Finishes
- 304L2B: 304 and 304L serve a wide range of applications because these finishes can withstand ordinary rusting in architecture, are resistant in food processing environments and resist organic chemicals, dyestuffs and a wide variety of inorganic chemicals.
- 316, 2B Finish
- 316L2B: 316 and 316L contain slightly more nickel than type 304, giving these finishes better resistance to corrosion, especially in chloride environments that tend to cause pitting. 316L has superior intergranular corrosion resistance after welding or stress relieving. It’s easy to maintain, has good pitting resistance and superior creep strength and close tolerances. Typical uses include marine environment components, conveyors and food processing equipment components.
- 321, 2D Finish: Are resistant to high temperatures, stabilized by Titanium, resist intergranular corrosion and are high strength. These finishes are used for aircraft afterburners, exhaust manifolds, cabin heaters, flash boilers, firewalls and stack liners.
